Earlier this afternoon Karen Bailey of the CIDC and Sharon Rome of the Claremont CPF, stopped by the Village Work Centre in First Avenue, Claremont and delivered curtains supplied by the Southern Sun Hotel, walking aids, biscuits, hot chocolate, milk and other goodies supplied by Dischem Cavendish, to the Village Work Centre, a protective work centre for adults with Cerebral Palsy who are unable to be employed in the open labour market.
Workers are transported from their homes to the Centre, mainly from areas on the Cape Flats and surrounding areas.
