Tips for reporting suspicious vehicles (in order of importance):
- 1 Plates: Focus on letters, and first 3 numbers. Don’t worry about all 6 numbers –
- accurate letters and first 3 numbers are all we need
- 2. Note the exact time on your cell and watch. This makes a HUGE difference to
- SAPS workload
- 3. Vehicle Type: Make and colour is fine (eg Silver Merc)
- 4. Write it all down as quickly as possible, or enter onto your phone.
- Memories become unreliable very quickly!
- 5. Contact your service provider/SAPS or CIDC
