Claremont means business … and FUN!

Rush, the ultimate indoor trampoline park, has opened at Stadium on Main, 109 Main Road, Claremont, with a massive facility full of trampoline sports fun.
The facility features an expansive freestyle court lined with angled trampoline walls, a foam pit with a variety of launch techniques, slam dunk lanes, a vertical walking wall, extreme dodgeball courts, plus a few innovative surprises.
Rush offers hourly sessions for freestyle vertical fun and is the perfect venue for high flying birthday parties and corporate events.

When someone says, “I’m bouncing off the walls,” it’s usually because they have just consumed an energy drink, a less than safe number of sweets or too much coffee. But now that phrase can actually be taken in a literal sense thanks to a fresh-out-of-the-box Claremont-based trampoline park called Rush, which enables those keen for a rush to spike their adrenaline by defying the rules of gravity.
Decked with trampolines from wall to floor, this one-of-a-kind establishment (it’s one of the first in the country) is part of a global brand that has already inhabited places like California, Athens and Georgia with the aim of creating an ultra-safe space for people of all ages to have good old indoor fun. Husband-and-wife team Jonathan and Chanette Goosen (they’re responsible for bringing the brand to Mzansi) chose the Mother City for its charm and international appeal to be first of many cities in South Africa to experience what Rush stands for, launching the Cape Town facility to the public in August 2015.
“We have the largest foam pit in the world here,” exclaims Jonathan. This section of the indoor park is edged by three trampoline lanes, slanted and a high-dive board that allows adventurers to literally jump into a trough filled with over 20,000 multi-coloured soft cubes. And that’s justone part of the venue. The 30,000sq.ft facility boasts over 17,000sq.ft of interconnected wall-to-wall trampolines, two dodgeball courts, three basketball slam dunk lanes, two long trampoline lanes perfect for doing flips, a battle beam (a ledge on which two participants battle it out using beams over the foam pit) and lots more.
Of course, the idea of flying through the air does bring to mind the question of safety, but Jonathan assures us that watching out for guests’ well-being is very much a cuff that binds all the elements of the park. Every installation meets international safety standards, each trampoline has supporting fabric beneath it, each member of staff is trained and allocated a particular section to monitor and each area has a television that has a tutorial video on loop. On top of that, visitors need to purchase non-slip trampoline socks and adhere to basic safety rules, which are explained upon arrival. So essentially, Rush Cape Town is a space where safety and fun meet.
Jonathan and Chanette have thought through every detail in other areas too and have gone above and beyond to ensure that every age group has something to do: toddlers have a dedicated free jump session each weekday; teens can jam it out in a secure environment at Cosmic Rush Nights (a club evening with music but no alcohol) and exercise at junior fitness classes; and adults can challenge themselves with team building, workout classes and more.
