The Claremont Improvement District Company (CIDC) along with the Claremont CPF, arranged donations from Ocean Basket Cavendish, Mugg & Bean Cavendish, Vineyard Convenience Centre and Spur Cavendish to feed the members at SAPS Claremont for Madiba Day.

We can’t do everything but we can do something.
After providing the SAPS Claremont members with lunch yesterday, the CIDC and the Claremont CPF made its way to the Maitland Cottage Hospital to spend a further 67 minutes for Madiba Day at the Hospital.
Thank you to Tsogo Sun Newlands for donating hairdryers, curtains, bed sheets, towels and pillow slips which were presented to the hospital. Cake from Mugg and Bean Cavendish Square, goods from Dischem Claremont, fruit and veg from the Informal Traders at Dreyer Market as well as other goodies were also handed over.
“The CIDC has identified a few other organisations, currently closed for the school holiday, as part of its 67 minutes for Madiba. These organisations will soon be visited as the school holiday comes to an end,” said the CIDC’s Karen Bailey.
