CIDC Law Enforcement Officer, Nicolette Sass, received a special commendation by the City of Cape Town on Thursday 31 May 2012. This commendation comes on the heels of a letter of commendation by David Stoll, Chairperson of the CIDC, on behalf of the CIDC Board of Directors, to Nicolette Sass for her outstanding service rendered to Claremont. In the CIDC’s letter, Nicolette’s willingness to be of assistance to the public and going beyond the call of duty in performing her service to the Claremont public was mentioned. Since her introduction to the CIDC and the Claremont CBD, Informal Traders are more organized, Taxi Operators are more compliant and there are fewer cases of illegal dumping in Claremont. The CIDC also thanks Nicolette for being a true asset to Law Enforcement by adding value to the CIDC in making Claremont a better place for all.
