Kudos to CIDC patrol officer, Mzukisi Same, (centre in pic below) who arrested a suspect for shoplifting earlier today.
He noticed a security officer running after the suspect down Main Road and with his quick thinking he gave chase and followed the suspect who had run into a dead-end where Officer Same arrested him. The suspect was still in possession of the stolen goods which were subsequently returned to the shop from where it was stolen.
Officer Mzukisi was congratulated for his excellence by Brian Koopman, Security Manager CIDC (Left) and by Sgt. Dubeni Sector 2 Manager, Claremont SAPS(Right)
