During the past few weeks all thirty four (34) CIDC Security Officers have undergone First Aid training to enable them to assist ill or injured persons in the CBD while waiting for an ambulance to arrive.
The officers were trained by the South African Fire and Medical Academy (SAFMA) based at the Ottery Youth and Education Centre.
