According to the CIDC’s Article of Association, CIDC Membership is open to the following categories:
- Owner Members, who are persons who are the registered owners of a property.
- Tennant Members, who hire propery or any part of property and who pay at least a pro-rata share to rates and taxes which includes the levy on the property.
- Additional Members, who shall be limited to other persons who support the main objectives of the Claremont Improvement District Company.
- The City of Cape Town.
