Claremont night life is abuzz, predominantly because universities and other tertiary institutions are once again in session which brings along with it an increase in student leisure activity. As a result Claremont pubs and clubs are alive with young patrons enjoying themselves.

The clean CBD environment is the hard work of the CIDC’s dawn patrol, which operates between 05:00am to 09:00am on Thursdays and Sundays.
They are deployed under the guidance of the CIDC’s Urban Management department and tackle all the hot spot areas such as Claremont Main Road, the subway and all the gateway entrances to Claremont (at New Stanhope Road and Main Road, as well as Corner Campground and Main Road and Stanhope bridge.)
