The CIDC’s two female Controllers were honoured with Women’s Day goody bags by Abdul Kerbelker, the CIDC Executive Manager.
Elizabeth Jacobs (in the first photo) has been with the CIDC since 2013. Wendy Davis (in the second photo) has been with the CIDC since January 2017.
The CIDC’s Control Room Operators play an important role in the effective functioning of the services offered by the CIDC. It is their job to monitor the workings of the site and to ensure that all protocols are adhered to by the CIDCs ground staff. They are often also the first port of call for emergencies occurring in the Claremont CBD, which requires them to be quick thinking and to remain level headed.
The CIDC is grateful for the effective role these two women play in “Making Claremont a better place for all”.
