The Claremont Improvement District Company, Claremont SAPS, Claremont CPF and 4 learners from the Wynberg Girls High School visited the Baphumelele Childrens Home in Khayletisha on Thursday 16th July 2015 in honour of Madiba Day, generally celebrated on 18th July.
Gifts of clothing, shoes, toys, books, appliances, perfume, make-up, fruit and veg, etc. were handed over to Lira Greef of Baphumelele Childrens Home. The handover was followed by a short tour of the home and its various facilities.
The CIDC thanks all sponsors and donors, especially Mugg and Bean Cavendish Square who kindly baked a cake, which was donated to the hospice patients at Baphumelele.
