The changing streetscape of Claremont Main Road: Draper on Main

Located on Main Road, Draper on Main, a GrowthPoint project, is a mixed-use development situated in the bustling heart of the financial district of Claremont.

At the heart of the project, is an existing heritage building structure and this has been the driving factor in creating the shape and flow of this new mixed-use building’s attributes.

The site accommodates four storeys of offices above four levels of structured parking, a ground floor and mezzanine retail level and two basement parking levels.

This AAA grade building boasts glass facades and modern and durable finishes, complemented by upper terraces. With magnificent views, the building also has a double volume main entrance and atriums to the ground floor lobby.

The main entrance to the building identifies the human scale and incorporates a restaurant at street level, recreating a personal streetscape. The open-plan floor plates create the flexibility to sub-divide the space to accommodate individual tenant requirements, while the green features provide attractive savings in operating costs and help to reduce carbon footprint.

The building offers four spacious levels of office area, together with ample basement and structured parking, excellent security and the following additional features:

Natural light permeating into the building
Excellent exposure
Excellent signage opportunities

Draper on Main is within walking distance of Virgin Active, Pick n Pay, Woolworths, Cavendish Shopping Centre and the public transport hub, provides commuters with taxi’s, buses and trains. The building is in close proximity to Newlands rugby grounds and Newlands cricket fields and offers ample parking.
